Classic TT : course 500cc

Première course de cette édition , la course 500 cc est partie vers 15h après de multiples reports. Un français y participe en la personne de Bruno Langlois sur sa EGLI-VINCENT.

Après quatre tours de course c'est finallement Ian Lougher (11) qui remporte cette course sur l'ex Paton de Olie Linsdell ( vainqueur en 2013). 10 victoires au TT, 3 au Manx Gp et désormais une au Classic TT, voici le nouveau et très étoffé palmarès de Lougher.

Dan Cooper (18) au guidon de sa Norton Manx termine second avec une fin de course mouvementée puisque qu'il a perdu son échappement.

Troisième , Bruce Anstey (5) sur la Norton McIntosh s'offre encore un podium qui confirme qu'il est toujours dans le coup au vu de sa saison 2014.

On notera la très belle place de Maria Costello qui termine 5ème et de Charlie Williams 9ème qui n'avait pas couru sur le mountain circuit depuis 1984.

John McGuinness abandonne sur problème de frein, Ryan Farquhar et Michael Rutter qui ont mené la course un temps abandonnent aussi.

Coté français , Bruno Leroy hisse sa EGLI -VINCENT à la 14 ème place et récolte une silver réplica.

En raison de fortes averses cet après midi , la direction de course a décidé de maintenir les séances de ce soir , mais ce fut une séance NON chronométrée.

Vous pouvez trouver un excellent compte rendu de cette semaine sur l'excellent blog de Corinne Montculier. Allez y faire un tour , c'est bien écrit et les photos sont magnifiques !!

Encore une belle soirée du coté du CLASSIC TT ou Bruce Anstey (5) réalise la perf du soir en Formula 1 au guidon de son YZR 500. Timothée Monot (51) a haussé le rytme et revient aux portes du top 10 en améliorant nettement son chrono. Bruno Leroy (40) a roulé sur ses deux motos et a amélioré ses temps en 500cc comme en 350 cc.

Concernant les essais du Classic TT, Michael Dunlop est toujours le plus rapide pour la seconde soirée en formula one alors que Timothée Monot a légèrement amélioré son chrono. En 500cc John McGuinness imite Michael Dunlop et réalise lui aussi le meilleur temps pour la seconde soirée consécutive.

Bruno Leroy a rouler en 350cc ce soir sur une Honda et réalise le 15ème chrono.

Alors là grosse surprise du soir c'est pas les tours super rapides de Michael Dunlop et consorts, mais plutôt la très belle septième place de Timothée Monot en Formula 1 s'il vous plait et de la 10 ème place de Bruno Leroy en 500 cc !!!
